Igor Vasiljev was born in Pula, 1973. Graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts in Belgrade, scenography department. Author of stage design in various genres of performing arts (opera, dance, drama, puppet theatre). Credits as stage designer include Deep Cut (Edinburgh festival) and The Grimm Tales directed by Mick Gordon, Mozart Luster Lustik directed by Jay Scheib, Gespensterhaus directed by Thierry Bruehl and P. Kalaba (Taschenoper Festival Salzburg), Waiting for Godot, Blasted and Three Sisters directed by Đurđa Tešić, Romance and The Face of Glass directed by Anja Suša, Thirteen directed by Gordana Lebović, The Cherry Orchard directed by Predrag Kalaba, Prometheus Bound directed by Stevan Bodroža, Orpheus and Eurydice directed by Bojana Cvejić. Awarded prize at the YUSTAT Biennale of Stage Design and Annual Duško Radović Theatre prize in Belgrade. Exhibited at the Prague Quadrinnale.
